MELROSE — About 240 seniors are set to graduate from Melrose High in the Class of 2025 on Friday, May 30th at Fred Green Memorial Field.
From Samy Abidi to Mina Zheng, class members will march onto the field around 6 p.m. to “Pomp and Circumstance” by Sir Edward Elgar.
The National Anthem will be sung by Clio Moock and Katherine Urchuk.
Dylan Bates will give the Welcome Address.
Adam Deleidi will give the Superintendent’s Opening Remarks.
Ava Furrier and Sidharth McQuaid will serve as emcees.
The President’s Address will be given by Catherine Kavanaugh.
Chair Dorie Withey will deliver talk on behalf of the School Committee.
The Valedictorians are Hannah Haseltine and Katherine Urchuk.
Honor graduates and scholastic achievers will be recognized.
The Honors Chorus will sing “Where You Lead I Will Follow.”
Simaya Terrell will deliver the METCO address.
Jason Merrill will give the Principal’s Address.
John Arena will deliver the Farewell Address.
Diplomas will then be presented.
