Timothy P. Gallagher, 58

Avid outdoorsman was known for his generosity

WAKEFIELD — Timothy P. Gallagher, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at his home on February 18, 2022. He was 58 years of age.

Tim was born at MelroseWakefield Hospital on May 23, 1963. He was the cherished son of Joanne (McHugh) Gallagher of Wakefield and the late James W. Gallagher.

Tim was the owner and operator of a granite curbing business, Reveal, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed biking, hiking and playing hockey. He was also an avid Boston sports fan. But primarily, he was the kindest and most generous man, freely giving of himself to anyone in need.

He was the devoted brother of Kathleen H. Weaver and her husband Jeff of Gloucester; James W. Gallagher, Jr. and his wife Denise of Reading; Brian J. Gallagher and his wife Loretta of Newburyport; Deirdre C. DiLibero and her husband Kevin of Wrentham, and Siobhan M. Shwartzer and her husband David of Rye, NH. He was the loving uncle of 8 nieces and nephews, and the great uncle to another 10 grandnieces and grandnephews.

A visitation will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn Street), Reading on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m.
