The high school spring sports season officially began with tryouts this week. Wakefield High teams will continue to get ready for the season with scrimmages, mostly taking place next week.
The regular season is set to start the week of Monday, April 4 for most teams except for the girls’ and boys’ tennis teams who start on Thursday, March 31 in Lexington.
A full Wakefield spring sports regular season master schedule will appear in the sports section on Wednesday, April 6.
