THE MEGHAN BURNETT Foundation wants to send out a big thank you to the Wakefield High varsity softball team and coaches. Last Saturday morning, the team arrived early for practice to install a much needed safety feature to Blatz Park, Meghan Burnett Field. When the Warriors found out that fence guards had been donated by the foundation, they quickly stepped up and volunteered to install them. The team showed up promptly, got right down to work and made quick work of it, leaving plenty of time for practice that they’ve been looking forward to all winter. (Courtesy Photos)
