Senior citizens Thanksgiving Dinner is back in person at Hillview Country Club

NORTH READING — North Reading senior citizens are invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading on Sunday, November 20 beginning at 1:30 p.m. Doors will open at 12:45 p.m. and the buffet dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m. The event will be held in the beautiful Hillview Country Club ballroom.

The North Reading Thanksgiving Dinner has been an annual tradition for more than 40 years. Hosted by Representative Brad Jones, his wife Linda Jones and Senator Bruce Tarr, in coordination with the North Reading Council on Aging, this year’s event will feature a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings, served buffet style.

Guests will enjoy the return of the “Dancing DJ.”

“My wife Linda, Senator Tarr and I are pleased to be able to carry on this very special holiday tradition for North Reading’s Senior Citizens. We are excited to finally return to hosting this event inside the Hillview ballroom after hosting a drive-by event in the Hillview parking lot the past two years,” said Representative Jones.

“This event would not be possible without the generosity of the local businesses and individuals who partner with us to help make the annual dinner such a success,” Jones added.

“The Thanksgiving dinner is a wonderful opportunity to get together with the senior citizens and neighbors who make North Reading such a strong and close community. I’m honored to be able to co-host this dinner once again with Minority Leader Jones and his wife Linda,” said Senator Tarr.

The buffet dinner is free and open to all North Reading residents over the age of 60, but reservations are required. Call the North Reading Senior Center today at 978-664-5600 to make your reservation to join us in person.
