9 years and counting!

THE E. ETHEL LITTLE SCHOOL has won the Turkey Trot contest for nine years. The friendly competition between the three elementary schools is based on the percentage of the school’s student body that participates in the Thanksgiving Day 5K and Family Fun Run/Walk event with the winning school earning money toward its physical education program. Principal Christine Molle (at left), shown with the school’s 2022 participants, was excited to share this photo after the trophy (inset) was recently returned to the school with the ninth date added. Excluding 2020, when the event was not held due to the pandemic, the Little School’s perfect streak dates back to 2013.
