LYNNFIELD — Sabina Fiantaca, 100, a member of the Centurian Club died at Sunrise Senior Living of Lynnfield on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.
She was born in Boston on Feb. 11, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Giuseppi and Immacolata (Dibisceglia) Leandro.
Sabina was a retired bookkeeper for Gum Products. She was a longtime resident of Lynnfield. Along with her husband Joseph, they built their home on Lovell Road in 1958 and remained part of the Lynnfield community for life. Sabina was very involved with various local groups, including the Lynnfield Library, Senior Center, Town Hall and St. Maria Goretti Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Janice Harris and her husband, Perry; Patricia DePamphalis; Kenneth Leandro; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Alfonso Leandro and sister Rose Beatrice.
The Funeral Mass for Sabina was held at St. Maria Goretti Church, 175 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023. Entombment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. To sign the guestbook, visit www.mcdonaldfs.com.
