Alivia Rowe wins big at national vocal competition

SAN DIEGO — Congratulations to North Reading resident Alivia Rowe, who has won third place at the NATS National Student Auditions for the second year in a row!

After advancing through a regional pre-qualifying round and multiple national rounds, Alivia advanced to the live National Finals held in San Diego, where she won third place in the Lower High School Musical Theater division.

Her winning song this year was “Kind of Woman” from “Pippin,” which can be viewed on her YouTube channel.

Alivia is a rising junior at North Reading High School and studies voice at Kim Lamoureux Voice Studio in Middleton. She is a member of the high school’s award-winning a cappella group, NOTEorious, which was honored to be the featured opening act on August 5 for the bands Foreigner and Loverboy at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.

Alivia intends to pursue a professional career in the performing arts.
