LYNNFIELD — The fall sports season is officially underway with tryouts and practices this week at Lynnfield High.
The Pioneers will continue to prepare for their regular seasons, which will begin the week of Sept. 5 for most teams. Golf will start their regular season on Aug. 29 with a road match at Amesbury.
Scrimmages are scheduled for many fall sports teams. The following is a scrimmage schedule for the varsity teams over the next two weeks.
FRIDAY, AUG. 25
Field Hockey: vs. Masconomet, 9 a.m.
Boys’ Soccer: vs. St. John’s Prep, 10 a.m.
SATURDAY, AUG. 26
Football: at Peabody, 2 p.m.
Field Hockey: CAL Play Day, TBD
Girls’ Soccer: vs. Amesbury, 3 p.m.
MONDAY, AUG. 28
Boys’ Soccer: at Marblehead, 4 p.m.
TUESDAY, AUG. 29
Field Hockey: vs. Reading, 3:15 p.m.
Girls’ Soccer: at Wakefield, 3:15 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 30
