LYNNFIELD — After two weeks of preparation, Lynnfield High’s fall sports teams will officially begin their regular seasons next week.
On Tuesday, the golf team travels to Pentucket at 3:30 p.m. and the girls’ and boys’ soccer teams will both take on Triton. The boys’ will host their season opener at 4 p.m. while the girls will travel to Byfield also for a 4 p.m. start.
On Wednesday, Sept. 6, the field hockey team hosts Triton at 4 p.m.
On Thursday, Sept. 7, the golf team will host Essex Tech at 3:15, the boys’ soccer team goes to Newburyport at 4:30 p.m., the volleyball team hosts Masco at 5:15 p.m. and the girls’ soccer team hosts Newburyport at 6 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 8, field hockey will host Newburyport at 4 p.m., volleyball travels to Newburyport at 5:30 and the football team kicks off their season at Triton at 7 p.m.
A few teams have some scrimmages left, as they get ready for the season. The girls’ soccer team hosts Danvers today while the boys’ soccer team travels to Swampscott. On Friday, the football team will have their final tune up as they host Melrose at 4 p.m.
