NORTH READING — Parents: Do you struggle with the vocabulary and process used at IEP meetings? Do you know where you should start when trying to get your special education questions answered?
If so, tonight’s webinar hosted by the North Reading Special Education Parents Advisory Council (NR SEPAC) is for you!

The webinar should last about one hour.
Additionally, NR SEPAC will offer two follow-up webinars in the next two months to get your questions answered and to fully cover the basics: “Basic Rights: Special Education Law” on Thursday, Nov. 2 and “Basic Rights: The IEP” on Thursday, December 7. Both webinars will be held at 6:30 p.m.
- NR SEPAC particularly encourages families where a child was recently diagnosed, as well as parents of disabled children in the elementary grades (or even younger), to attend.
- If you have not yet read and absorbed the “Parental Notice of Procedural Safeguards,” consider at least attending the November 2 webinar.
