NEW HAMPSHIRE — Scott M. Evangelista passed away unexpectedly at his home in NH while getting ready for what he loved to do, working for EJ Paving. Scott was born in Melrose on August 21, 1966 to the late Ernest J. and Barbara J. (MacDonald) Evangelista. He was raised in Wakefield, graduated from Wakefield High School and has been a resident in NH for the last 12 years. Scott was a master skilled Bobcat operator for EJ Paving for over 30 years. 

He had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, loved music, the Bruins, going to biker weekend in Laconia every year and setting off fireworks. He enjoyed the 4th of July, Halloween and spending the holidays with family. Scott had a close group of friends and was dedicated to his paving crew he worked with daily. He was also a lover of all animals. 

Scott was the brother of Steven P. Evangelista and his wife Lynda of Gloucester and Thomas P. Evangelista and his wife Lee of Methuen. Proud uncle of Tyler Evangelista and his wife Christina; Greg Evangelista and his wife Jen; Ashley Read and her husband Matthew; Tommy Evangelista and his wife Megan; and Connor Evangelista, as well as a great uncle to Lena and Alivia. Scott also had a longtime companion, Doreen Langlois. 

Visitation will be held at St. Florence Church (AKA Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine) at 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Saturday, October 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. Followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial at Forest Glade Cemetery after the Mass.
