NORTH READING — Arlene Ruth Oliver, 86, of North Reading and formerly of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Arlene and her husband Jim raised their children in North Reading and later in life they split their time between Florida and Waterboro, Maine. Arlene loved being surrounded by her family and traveling with her husband.
Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James F. Oliver, and son, James S. Oliver. She was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to Scott and Lisa Oliver, Kelly and John Waugh, Nancy Stevens and Donna Oliver. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Shawnette, Stephanie, Brandan, Evan, Jordan, Hayley, Austin and Marissa. Adored great-grandmother of Nicholas, Mackenzie, Anna, Kaia, Emma, Liam, Jack and Hunter. Dearest sister to Norma Ryan and the late Marion Bland and loved aunt of Laurie Sanderson, along with many nieces and nephews.
