Loved fashion, cooking and good old fashioned dancing

MERRIMACK, N.H. — Adelaide (Iannuzzi) Branchini, 96, of Merrimack, N.H., formerly of North Reading and New Haven, Connecticut, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late Anthony Branchini.

She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on April 5, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Katherine (Buemi) Iannuzzi. Adelaide was a graduate of Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut. She had been a resident of North Reading for 60 years and a member of St. Theresa’s Church.

Adelaide worked in sales at Filene’s and was a dedicated homemaker. She was a very loving and outgoing person. She loved fashion, Hallmark movies, music, Broadway musicals, cooking and good old fashioned dancing. She loved luncheons with her friends and of course spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Everyone thought that Grandmother Branchini was part of their own family. She was everyone’s grandma. She never missed a game, show, performance or celebration. She was always there with stories, words of advice and lots of treats.

Family members include her loving daughters: Joyce Capaldo and her husband Bruce; and Karen Ash and her husband Russell; her late brother, Sonny and her late sisters, Barbara and Babe; her four loving grandchildren: Christine, Michael, Brian and Laura; and her six great-grandchildren: Alana, Austin, Julian, Liliana, Logan and Lucas.
