NORTH READING — Once again, there are a plethora of festive events, festive and otherwise, taking place throughout our little town in the next few days so there is no chance of being bored!
- In addition to driving around town to see all the beautiful holiday light displays, townspeople can have Breakfast with Santa at the Masonic Lodge on Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to noon. Remember to bring your camera to capture the moment with Santa!
- The Masquers annual musical opens this weekend featuring SpongeBob the Musical. If you can’t make it this Friday night or Saturday afternoon, make sure to get your tickets for next weekend’s shows.
- The Ipswich River Community Chorus is also hosting its annual holiday concerts this weekend, under the direction interim director Katherine Foley of North Reading. The show dates are Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m., both in the sanctuary of the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St.
- Frosty’s Fair, a favorite event for nearly eight decades returns Friday night from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m to 2 p.m. Be sure to stop by the Union Congregational Church to check it out.
- Our town’s first responders are once again collecting Toys for Tots at the Fire Station. Drop off new toys now through Dec. 9 at the Fire Station.
