Coffeehouse Showcase kicks off at library Jan. 13

NORTH READING — Come enjoy an evening of music Saturday night, Jan. 13 when the North Reading Community Coffeehouse presents its January Showcase.

The Activity Room of the Flint Memorial Library will be transformed into a traditional coffeehouse from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Taina Rentas and Kevin Haverty, Al Pappalardo and Patrick Saylor (“Just Us”), Jeff and Kathy Winston (“Antarctica”) and Sal Liberto, a North Reading resident are eager to perform. Each performer will do about a 30- to 40-minute set.

The event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted. Refreshments available, with all the proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library in North Reading with whom NRCC partners to help support library expenditures and special programming not covered by the annual budget.

The Activity Room is located directly off the rear parking lot where there is plenty of free parking. “Please come, sit back, relax and enjoy listening to some terrific music!” said NRCC founder and event emcee Art Grossman. Refer any questions to him at NRCoffeehouse@gmail.com.
