DESPITE MELROSE’S highest point total of the season (134) the Melrose High gymnastics team was slightly edged by league rival Burlington (135) last Thursday to even their season out 1-1. After press time: Melrose defeats Stoneham Friday and splits their tri-meet on Monday vs. Woburn (135.5 – 126.35 W) and Reading (139.8 – 135.5 L).
