ights display, George Snow, John Loews and other WCNA members recently checked and repaired dozens of light strands and tested thousands of bulbs in anticipation of the Wakefield Department of Public Works’ approval for Wakefield Municipal Gas and Light Department crews and bucket trucks to drive onto the Upper Common to help the WCNA hang the lights on trees. The annual Lighting of the Lights celebration is scheduled for Friday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. As always, the evening’s ceremony will include hot chocolate, choir singing, a visit from a certain snowman and most importantly, good cheer for everyone.
