WAKEFIELD — Thomas P. Curran, 50 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died at his home on Monday, October 21.
Born in Melrose, February 6, 1974 he was the son of Gary Curran and the late Nancy (Bennett) Curran. Tom was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1992. Tom played quarterback on the varsity football team. He was a Middlesex League All Star in baseball. He continued his career at Point Park College in Pennsylvania and Westfield State College. After college he continued to play for the Wakefield Legion and the Twi League. He was a member of the Local 22.
Tom is survived by his father Gary and his brother Brian Curran.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield on Tuesday, October 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Visit mcdonaldfs.com.
