AT LAST, the Melrose High boy’s hockey team has beaten Wakefield after over 5 efforts in the last few seasons. On Jan. 8 they beat the Warriors 4-1 behind goals from Justin D’Antona (2) Declan McLean and Charlie Hoskins. After press time: Melrose falls to Burlington 2-0 and edges Wilmington 4-3 on the road, falls to Stoneham 3-2 at Kasabuski Arena.
