BOSTON — Frankie Sullivan continued to climb the ranks at the state level with another special performance in the shot put at the MIAA Meet of Champions on Feb. 22 at the Reggie Lewis Center, which featured the best from all divisions in Massachusetts.

Sullivan followed up his 2-foot personal best at the Div. 4 championship with another 10-inch improvement at the Meet of Champions, throwing 50’10.25”.

The significant improvement allowed Sullivan — who entered the meet as the 18th seed — to finish 8th and make the podium.

That performance qualified Sullivan for the New England Championship held last weekend back at the Reggie Lewis track. Sullivan concluded his terrific season with a throw of 48’3” to place 21st overall.

The 4×400 relay team of Ethan Mezikofsky, Jackson Conley, Aidan Martin, and Brody Wyatt also competed at the Meet of Champions. They placed 17th in a time of 3:35.00.
