MELROSE — The City of Melrose is sharing the following updates for the upcoming week:
Street Sweeping begins March 31

City improves Public Records transparency with new portal for requests
The City of Melrose is pleased to announce the launch of the NextRequest Public Records request portal, available at cityofmelrosema.nextrequest.com. The Massachusetts Public Records Law gives each person the right to access public information. Using the City’s new online portal, requesters can easily request and access public records provided by the City.
Complete the City Census
If you haven’t yet answered your Annual City Census, now is the time! If you lost or misplaced the form, stop by the Election Office on Wednesdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to get a new form. Completing the city census ensures that residents’ voter files are not marked as inactive, which can lead to delays at the polls on Election Day.
