MELROSE — The Bridge Bee Online Auction is open for bidding. The auction featuring amazing items ranging from tickets to local theater productions to wonderful culinary experiences from local chef Mama Jean and The Kitchen; from gift cards for local businesses to personal fitness opportunities…and so much more. You can grab a gift card to your favorite restaurant and make a donation to The Bridge while spending money on something you’d buy anyway or go a little outside of your usual with a bid on a special experience. The Bridge makes it easy to volunteer. The Bridge provides a clear, consistent, easy path to begin as a volunteer and a streamlined system where a single registration allows individuals to volunteer anywhere in the district. Equally important, The Bridge sets expectations about privacy, confidentiality and professionalism and performs criminal record checks, all of which helps educators feel comfortable welcoming volunteers into the classroom.
