THE SELECT BOARD recognized Jeff Strong Monday night for the 47 years of service he dedicated as a Call Firefighter and dispatcher of the North Reading Fire Department. Strong’s tenure began when he graduated from NRHS in 1978 and he served the maximum length of time — retiring upon reaching his 65th birthday.
