MELROSE — For the third consecutive year, Follow Your Art Community Studios is hosting an exhibition of artwork by Advanced Placement (AP) Studio Art students from Melrose High School.

AP Studio Art students gathered with friends and family for an opening reception of the show on May 15. In addition to the paintings, sculptures and other art forms on display, students prepared statements describing their artwork and inspirations, which accompany the pieces on display.
“The AP Studio Art show is an annual highlight in the Gallery at Follow Your Art. This year features a talented group of twenty three young artists and we hope members of the community will stop by the Gallery to see their incredible work,” commented Sara Gravante, Follow Your Art’s Gallery Coordinator.

“This ongoing collaboration provides an invaluable platform for these dedicated students to share their year-long efforts and artistic growth. The exhibition highlights the talent and dedication of these young artists who enrich the cultural landscape of Melrose,” shared MHS Visual Arts Teacher Susan Hamelin.
The MHS AP Studio Art show is on display at Follow Your Art Community Studios at 647 Main St. through June 14.
