WAKEFIELD — The 8th annual Meghan Burnett “Fly High” Softball Tournament begins on Friday, July 11 and will continue until Sunday, July 13 at various fields around Wakefield and Lynnfield. The field locations this year include three in Wakefield: Meghan Burnett Field at Wakefield High, Veterans Field and Mapleway Park. There will also be games at Lynnfield High School.
The tournament has an 18U (6 teams) and a 14U (8 teams) bracket, each made up of club teams throughout New England.
T-shirts, bracelets, helmet decals and more will be for sale at each of the fields. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Meghan Burnett Foundation.
