USAF veteran owned a landscaping company
WAKEFIELD — William E. (Billy) Veno, a lifetime resident of Wakefield, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on May 7, 2025.
Born on January 31,1966, he was the son of William H. Veno of Wakefield, and the late Susan (Weadick) Veno.
Billy was the nephew of Helena Enos, Larry Veno, Carol Lu and the late Edgar Veno, Evelyn Pettigrew, Dorothy Whitcomb and Dennis Weadick. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Billy attended Austin Prep and Wakefield High School, where he played hockey and baseball. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1985 to 1989.
Billy was the owner of Veno Landscaping of Wakefield for many years.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the family’s request, interment will be private.
