Wakefield Recreation summer clinics in full swing

WAKEFIELD — The Wakefield Recreation department’s summer programs are in full swing throughout the town. 

The recreation department puts on multiple different kinds of clinics, enrichment programs, youth and adult fitness classes, special events and much more throughout the summer months. 

The Club Rec program continues on a weekly basis with various different activities and sports to play. 

Upcoming adult programs include beginner pickleball lessons on Sundays from Aug. 3 to Aug. 31 at the Americal Civic Center. 

The Warrior Basketball clinic for grades 2-9 will take place with coaches and players from the WMHS basketball teams at the Charbonneau Field House. The first session is July 28-31 and the second session is Aug. 11-14. 

The Warrior volleyball clinic also has two sessions. The second will be Aug. 4-7 at the field house.
