The Wakefield Environmental Sustainability Committee is hosting another sports equipment collection and swap this Saturday, Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hall Park next to the Wakefield Farmer’s Market. The swap collects any gently used sports equipment to be donated and offers used equipment as well.
Accepted sports equipment includes balls, bats, mitts, cleats, shin guards, rackets, lacrosse sticks, field hockey sticks, hockey sticks, roller blades, ice skates, youth golf clubs, swim goggles, razor scooters and Wakefield Warrior clothing. All equipment must be in good condition.
Helmets, pads, ski/snowboard gear, sneakers, clothing, hunting/archery equipment and bicycles are examples of equipment that is not accepted.
You do not need to donate in order to participate in the swap.
