READING — The Reading Rotary recently recognized 11 outstanding local students as recipients of the prestigious Service Above Self scholarships at Rotary’s annual Installation and Scholarship Night, held on July 21 at Café Escadrille in Burlington.
The evening celebrated youth who exemplify Rotary’s core value of service above self through their volunteerism, leadership, and commitment to their communities. Reading Rotary awarded a total of $11,000 in scholarships at this event. Six of the recipients are 2025 graduates of North Reading High School.
“These scholarships honor students who go beyond academics and demonstrate a sincere dedication to helping others,” said Amy Walsh, president of the Reading Rotary. “It is a privilege to support their educational journeys and celebrate their community spirit.”
