MELROSE—Boston Boxing Promotion’s “Summer Brawl” takes place this Friday evening, August 29 at Melrose Memorial Hall. This is the biggest Pro Boxing card this summer in New England. Ten amazing fights are currently scheduled on the card, so kick off your Labor Day weekend in Melrose.
Be there to see former Bantamweight World Champion Jonathan “Salmon King” Guzman (26-2, 25 KO’s) in action as he tries to climb the ranks back to title contention. See Medford’s Jarrid DiGangi (5-0, 5 KO’s) make the first defense of the MA State Cruiserweight Title he won in the thrilling main event of our last show in Melrose in May.
See Plainville’s rising star “The Italian Nightmare” Alex Nineve (2-0, 2 KO’s) look to continue his winning streak against tough San Diego, CA competitor Israel Ramirez Carmona. See undefeated Philly heavyweight prospect Alonzo Neal (3-0, 3 KO’s) as well as the return of Brooklyn’s Koby Khalil Williams (5-1, 4 KO’s) in separate bouts. The wildly popular Tongan-born, Boston-based heavyweight Sione Tu’Ukofe Finau (3-2-1, 2 KO’s) will also be in action.
In a fight that will have fans talking for years to come, Maine’s Steven Kirkwood (5-1, 5 KO’s) will meet Brockton’s Bryan Urday (3-1-1).
