WAKEFIELD — “Dress a Girl” Sewing Event at FBC of Wakefield will be on Friday, September 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fellowship Hall will host a special “Dress a Girl” sewing event. Volunteers with basic sewing machine skills are invited to join in making dresses that bring dignity and hope to girls around the world. A few sewing machines will be available on-site, but participants are encouraged to bring scissors and pins.
