WAKEFIELD— The Wakefield Porchfest Committee is finalizing the musical lineup for the 2025 community event, with registration for musical acts closing on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Musical acts interested in participating at the 2025 event, which will take place on Saturday, September 6, should register ASAP at wakefieldporchfest.com in order for volunteer organizers to match acts with a host location.
Wakefield Porchfest 2025 is on track to eclipse the participation of the inaugural event in September 2024, as 100 musical acts have registered for the 2025 event and new businesses have signed on as sponsors.
Throughout the month of August Wakefield Porchfest teams will be around town promoting the 2025 event.
Over the coming week, volunteers will be distributing yard signs to event hosts to highlight the locations that will host musical acts on September 6th. In the weeks leading up to the event, organizers will launch an interactive searchable map on the event website, which will allow attendees to plan their day.
Porchfest will be at WCATV’s ‘Movies by the Lake’ on Thursday, August 14th, from 6-9 p.m., which will feature the 2024 hit movie Barbie. The Porchfest team will organize live music before the movie, take pre-orders for official 2025 Porchfest t-shirts and answer questions about the 2025 event. The team will also host tables at the Wakefield Farmers Market in late August.
