Wakefield native worked in aerospace industry
CLEARWATER, Florida — Bruce P. Esposito of Clearwater, FL formerly of Wakefield, MA passed away after a period of illness on July 17, 2025 at age 61. His loving sister, neighbor, and Chaplain were by his side.
Bruce was good natured and had a certain way of presenting. Whether by a wry line or humorous story, he certainly had the ability to connect with everyone. Bruce knew everyone and everyone knew Bruce in a good way. This is not only true while growing up in Wakefield, but also in all the years he lived in Clearwater.
Bruce spent his career in the aerospace industry. He earned his 5-year gold pin at Aerosonic Corporation in Clearwater and went on to work there for 29 years holding many positions including Quality Manager. Bruce traveled to the Czech Republic, Turkey, Canada and many parts of the United States. Bruce was particularly fond of Montreal for its wine and dining.
When Bruce was not working, he could often be found socializing, listening to live music, boating, or riding his motorcycle, first a vintage Triumph then a Harley Davidson. He thoroughly enjoyed riding with friends and Uncle Bobby.
When his twin nieces were born, Bruce quickly discovered a limelight strolling the carriage with a smile ear to ear, and being stopped by so many, particularly beautiful ladies. In addition to being survived by his twin-nieces, Audrey McRae of Wakefield and Nicole (McRae) Beers and her husband David of Lowell, Bruce is survived by his parents Judith Hynes and Paul Esposito, his brother Erik and niece Julie Esposito, his sister Kristin Esposito McRae, all of Wakefield. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law Robert McRae and uncle Robert Esposito. He is survived by his aunt Karen Esposito and close friends Rodney Espinola and Maria Hampton, and neighbor Patrick Panado, all of Clearwater, and many relatives and friends from Wakefield to Florida and points between.
