NRHS hosts Marching Band competition Oct. 4

NORTH READING — Come see the 70-plus member NRHS Marching Hornets, led by Director Ben Owens, perform as part of the NESBA competition hosted by North Reading High School on Saturday, October 4 from 5-9 p.m.

This family-friendly event will feature eight area high school bands with guest performances by the WPI Marching Band and the Boston University Marching Band.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. Purchase tickets at the gate or online at https://nrmb.square.site/product/nesba-2025-competition-tickets/29 For online sales, your receipt (either paper or on your phone) will serve as your ticket.

The Marching Hornets compete in Division IV and will perform at 7:30 p.m. The other high school bands slated to perform are Reading, Melrose, Danvers, Everett, Salem, Andover and Wakefield.

The NESBA competition will conclude with an awards presentation at 8:25 p.m.
