WAKEFIELD — Mary Elizabeth (Cronin) Patterson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred B. Patterson Jr. with whom she shared nearly 67 years of marriage. Born in Winchester and raised in Wakefield, Mary was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Edith (Regan) Cronin. Mary is survived by her two children: daughter Nancee and son Michael.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10 in Holy Family Church, Lynn at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery, Swampscott. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. Rt. 1A, Lynn prior to the funeral Mass.
