WAKEFIELD — The award winning WHS Marching Band and the Music Boosters did an incredible job in their annual food drive to benefit the Wakefield Food Pantry (WFP).
“The excitement and amazing results are testimony to these wonderful organizations,” commends Maureen Miller, Executive Director of the WFP. “Students, parents and many Music Booster volunteers pour so much time and effort in supporting our neighbors in need each and every year.”
The team collected over 7,500 food item donations and broke the 2024 record by nearly 2,800 donations. In addition, this annual food drive is the largest one delivering to the WFP.
“We are forever grateful to our dedicated Marching Band and Music Boosters for their commitment to supporting the WFP,” said Ms. Miller.
