THIS WEEK’S Melrose High Athlete(s) of the Week have been key factors to their teams’ league championships that were clinched this week. Senior Henry McCormack and junior Reilly Powell have been Melrose’s top cross country runners for much of the season, earning many first place finishes in their dual meet action, with Powell recently setting a course record at Pine Banks. Both have been key to their teams sweeping of the ML Freedom League. And with much more running to go, look for these two to fight for medals in post season. Congrats to both runners and their squads for a championship week!
