Theodore Juzwiski, 100

US Navy veteran

MELROSE — Theodore Juzwiski of Melrose, died on October 24 at the age of 100. Ted was born on April 29, 1925 in Reading, PA, the son of John and Anna Juzwiski. He graduated from Reading Senior High School in 1943. He served in the US Navy during World War II on board the USNTS Sampson and USS Euryale. Ted graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music majoring in the trumpet. He played for many years with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Boston Musicians Association. Ted was known by many people around Melrose and Malden by his warm smile and favorite greeting “who loves you baby?”

Ted is survived by Lillian, his loving wife of 55 years. He was the brother-in-law of Carol Jones and the late Mary Ellen Jones, Shirley Jones and Oscar and Ruth Jones. He was also the brother of Dorothy and her late husband Elias Esposito and Irene Juzwiski. Uncle of Anthony and Linda Izzo and their sons Michael, Daniel and David; and Anthony and Jean Esposito and their daughter Svetlana.
