MELROSE — Follow Your Art Community Studios (FYACS) will host a free Visual Descriptions Tour of the Art of Words V gallery exhibit on Friday, November 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 647 Main St. in Melrose.
Discover pieces from Art of Words V, a collaborative exhibit of art and writing from Follow Your Art’s Creatives in Residence through rich verbal descriptions of the artwork and aural readings of the writings.
“The visual descriptions tour makes this beloved annual show accessible and engaging for everyone including those who otherwise may not be able to fully experience the works visually,” shared Arts for All Coordinator Jill Bemis.
The Visual Descriptions Tour, made possible for the third year running thanks to FYACS’ Arts for All program is designed for those who are blind or low-vision, and is open to everyone. The Gallery is located on the first floor of an accessible building with parking out front along Main St.
