NORTH READING — It’s that time of year again! The 6th annual Festival of Trees, hosted by the North Reading Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1511, will be held Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, Nov. 28, Saturday, Nov. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Moose Hall, 140 North St.
The festival is open to the public free of change with a fully accessible entrance and plenty of free parking.
“Everyone who attends not only gets to partake in a festive evening for the whole family, but has the opportunity to take chances on the donated trees. The raffle itself will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon with the proceeds being donated to Moose Charities. This has really become a family favorite for a lot of people and we’re happy to carry on that tradition for our sixth year. It just continues to get bigger and better!” said Bill McGarry, one of the event organizers and current North Reading Moose President.
The decorated, artificial trees are donated by area businesses, organizations and individual families. Those who have any questions or who would like to donate a tree may contact McGarry at Bill.McGarry@comcast.net or call 617-733-9335.
