The hallways of the city’s public schools again will fill with the voices of just about all Melrose students as the 2016-17 academic year gets underway Tuesday.
We know it’s a drag to call an unofficial end to summer — for the kids, anyway — but it is to everyone’s benefit to head back to class before Labor Day weekend.
There is success waiting for every child who seizes the opportunities provided by a Melrose public school education.
