KARLIE VESEY and KYLE BYTHROW were the winners of the NRHS September scholar athlete award as the best student-athletes of the month. Athletic director David Johnson said both seniors showed great leadership and set the tone for the Hornets’ fall sports season. Vesey is a senior captain on the girls’ soccer team while Bythrow is a senior captain on the football team.
