Elementary schools’ ‘Family Technology Night’ March 19

Published March 11, 2020

LYNNFIELD — On Thursday, March 19, Lynnfield Public Schools will host a free Family Technology Night for families with students in grades K-4.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to see how their children use digital tools to support student learning, as well as support the district goals of personalized learning and social emotional learning (SEL) at the elementary level,” said Digital Learning Coach Sarah Perkins.

The evening will consist of student-led demonstrations of common K-4 technologies used in the classroom or media center by elementary student ambassadors. Lynnfield High School AP Computer Science and Student Help Desk students, as well as middle school students, will also be on hand to assist the younger students.

The event will take place at Lynnfield Middle School from 6-7:30 p.m.
