DOVER, N.H. — Dorothea Murial (Marchant) McIntire, 72, of Dover N.H., passed away on June 9, 2020 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 30, 1947 in Boston, the daughter of the late Vincent and Murial (Roy) Marchant.
Dorothea attended school in Wilmington, Mass. and later worked at Lynnfield (Mass.) High School. In her spare time she loved to garden, go shopping, and walking which she was sure to do every day. She was also very committed to her faith and loved the Lord. Above all, Dorothea loved spending time with her family and friends, especially doting on her five grandchildren during the holidays. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Dorothea is survived by her three daughters Michelle Whittier, Mellissa McIntire and Melinda Mackenzie; three brothers Vincent Marchant, Robert Marchant and Ronald Marchant; five grandchildren Devlin, Sarah, Morgan, Paige and Cole; as well as extended family and friends.
A celebration of Dorothea’s life will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Church, 105 Haverhill St. North Reading.
