David L. Quinn, 81

MIDDLETON – David L. Quinn, 81, of Peabody, beloved husband of the late Natsue (Ogowa) Quinn, died peacefully Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at his home in Seabrook, N.H.

Born in Stoneham, he was the son of the late Peter and Erymntrude (Potter) Quinn. He was raised and educated in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1957.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Army.

With an entrepreneurial spirt and hardworking character, David was the founder and proprietor of D.L. Quinn Company Incorporated for over 35 years. He specialized in rigging and machinery moving.

A longtime resident of Peabody and Seabrook, David enjoyed history, watching his favorite show, “Gunsmoke,” and spending time with canine companions, Tiger and Natsue. He was a hardworking man bound by his word and will be remembered for his dedication to his career and his loyalty to his family and friends.

David is survived by his brothers, Richard Quinn and his wife Betsey of Wakefield and Robert Quinn and his wife Carol of Naples, Fla.; his dear friends Bill and Grace Bartlett and many other friends and colleagues.

His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62), Danvers, pn Friday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
