WAKEFIELD — Marion L. “May” Cooper, 90, of Wakefield died February 7, 2022 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Wakefield on November 11, 1931 she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Alma Rosalie (Malonson) Meuse.
May was raised in Wakefield on Maple Street and attended Wakefield High School. She had worked for both Transition and Analog Devices. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and had enjoyed taking care of her children.
May was the beloved wife of the late William H. Cooper. She was the loving mother of John Cooper of Wakefield and the late Richard W. Cooper and his surviving wife, Ellen Cooper, of Malden. She was the sister of Elizabeth Meuse of Newburyport, Helen Amirault of Wakefield, and the late Catherine, William and Wilfred Meuse. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey Cooper.
Funeral services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
