MELROSE — Adele S. (Barnovitch) Dwyer, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Oosterman’s Rest Home in Melrose on June 19 at age 102.
Devoted wife for 55 years of the late James (Rut) Dwyer. Beloved mother of James E. and the late Denise (Poirier) Dwyer of Melrose; David and Patricia (McPhee) Dwyer of Boynton Beach, FL; Stephen and Angela (Fransen) Dwyer of Malden; and Mary Dwyer; and friend, Jane Scanzani of Beverly.
Adored grandmother of Daniel Dwyer of Gloucester; Keith and Laura (Schmidt) Dwyer of Boynton Beach, FL; Andrea (Dwyer) and Andrew Spiewak of Canton; and Richard Dwyer of Malden. Cherished great-grandmother to Lucas Daniels-Dwyer and Logan Spiewak. Dear sister of the late Julius Barnovitch; the late Nellie Murphy; and the late James Barnovitch. Also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
There will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 4 Herbert St., Melrose, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28. Interment will be at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St., Melrose, immediately following.
