Broadway preview: NOTEorious to perform at Sing Fling April 11

NORTH READING — NOTEorious, North Reading High School’s all voiced competitive a cappella group, has placed in the top seven from an initial field of more than 200 groups competing across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

They have now qualified to compete in New York City on Friday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall Theater on 43rd and Broadway. Fans traveling to NYC can purchase tickets on Ticketmaster at: https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/03006190E61C182F

ENCORE AT SING FLING FRIDAY NIGHT

The public is also invited to an encore performance of NOTEorious before they depart for New York when they host their annual “Sing Fling” on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at North Reading High School.

In addition to NOTEorious’ award-winning competition set, the audience will be treated to performances by a cappella groups from Salem, Hamilton-Wenham, and North Reading Middle School, plus the newest North Reading a cappella group, the 12eights.

“We are so proud of these students, and we know they will make North Reading proud on an international platform!” stated Director Allison Kane.

The North Reading Music Boosters is hosting an online fundraiser for NOTEorious with a goal of raising $20,000 toward the expenses for the students to travel to Broadway. All monies collected from this fundraiser directly benefit the students’ trip to the International Championship of High School ACappella (ICHSA) on Broadway.
