QUINCY To kick off Climate Week in Massachusetts, the Baker-Polito Administration today announced the award of $7.9 million to 59 municipalities across the Commonwealth through the Green Communities Competitive Grant program with Melrose being awarded $104,633 as apart of the Green Communities Competitive Grant award. Town has $8 million in federal COVID relief funds

WAKEFIELD The federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provided $8,083,935.00 to Wakefield through the new Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. There are four categories of eligible uses and funds are specifically prohibited from being used in certain other areas.
